I turn complex business workflows into production software.

At IRALOGIX, I owned distribution workflows and the care-agent application across interfaces, backend services, and AWS. I made account lookup roughly 4× faster and fixed production defects that erased saved account data or left signed distributions stuck.

Illustrative model: a request passes through interface, service and data layers to a response, and each layer reports to an observed trace. Not a depiction of any employer's architecture.

Building the care-agent experience in Amazon Connect

I owned the agent-facing application and supporting call workflows for the Salesforce-to-Amazon Connect migration, including the React interface, Go services, and AWS Lambda functions. I shaped how agents accessed account context, integrated built-in call and voicemail summaries, and made account lookup roughly 4× faster.

Illustrative model. Left: the first region, where PostgreSQL remains the source of truth. Right: the contact-center region's recreated lookup cache, refreshed nightly from the first region's cache (dashed), serving caller lookup into the agent workspace.
Problem
Agents needed account context, previous interactions, and the next action while on a call. Cross-region access and a cold cache caused recurring lookup timeouts.
My decisions
Organized the call view around that sequence with stakeholders. Recreated the Valkey lookup cache in the contact-center region, refreshed nightly from the first region's cache.
Verified result
The backend account-lookup request became roughly 4× faster in recorded same-scenario comparisons, resolving recurring timeouts.
Read the story

Care agents needed to establish account context, understand previous interactions, and determine the next action while speaking with a customer. I worked with stakeholders to organize the experience around that sequence.

The application brought customer details, call history, and prior incidents into the Connect workspace, with direct links into the Staff Portal for follow-up work. I shaped which information belonged in the immediate call view and how agents moved into deeper investigation.

Getting account context ready before the agent answered

My integration retrieved cached account data, compared it with the caller's supplied details, and returned the authentication result used by the automated call flow. If a mismatch or unavailable lookup prevented authentication, the caller continued to an agent without being marked authenticated, and the agent completed verification. Account context needed to reach the contact-center application in another AWS region before the caller reached an agent.

Cross-region access and a cold cache caused recurring lookup timeouts. With a broader redesign outside the project's scope, I recreated the existing Valkey lookup cache in the contact-center region and refreshed it nightly from the first region's cache. PostgreSQL remained the source of truth.

Recorded before-and-after timings for the same lookup scenarios showed the backend account-lookup request became roughly four times faster, resolving recurring timeouts. The measurement ran from request to response, including the wait for lookup data. Automated lookup used cached information until the next nightly refresh. If a refresh failed, the last successful cache remained available until a later refresh succeeded.

Connecting conversations to follow-up work

I configured Amazon Connect's built-in summarization for calls and voicemails and integrated its output into the agent application, giving agents the reason for contact, relevant discussion, and outstanding follow-up. Supporting work included voicemail handling, direct-agent dialing, and automated phone-number ingestion.

Turning retirement-account rules into a usable distribution wizard

I owned the distribution wizard's workflow, interface, and backend behavior. Working with domain experts, I determined which withdrawal paths were allowed, how withholding choices affected the request, and which steps customers had to revisit after changing an earlier answer.

Illustrative model. Each step builds toward a validated request (highlighted); changing an earlier answer (dashed) sends the customer back through the affected steps.
Problem
Earlier answers affected later steps, and the final request needed to reflect the customer's current selections consistently.
My decisions
Turned the rules into branching, explanations, withholding calculations, validation, and backend behavior. A changed answer requires affected steps to be revisited.
Production follow-through
Fixed distributions stuck awaiting signature after completed DocuSign signing, reconciled affected requests, and checked the complete signing-to-processing workflow.

Those decisions shaped the wizard's branching, explanations, withholding calculations, validation, and backend behavior.

The workflow connected withdrawal choices, bank information, required authorization, and downstream processing. My broader platform work included Plaid bank verification, DocuSign signing, and ACH processing.

Earlier answers affected later steps. When a customer changed a choice, I required them to revisit the affected steps and resolve missing or invalid information before submitting. The final request needed to reflect their current selections consistently.

Resolving a signing-to-processing failure

One production issue left a distribution showing 'awaiting signature' after the customer had completed DocuSign signing.

I traced the mismatch across the portal, backend, and signing integration, corrected the association between completion events and the originating request, and repaired the status handling. I reconciled affected requests and checked the complete signing-to-processing workflow.

One application for test data across services owned by different teams

Designed and built a Java Swing application backed by Spring, used by 50+ QA engineers to create, repair, and customize test data through one interface.

Illustrative model. One desktop interface (highlighted, left) over a Spring layer that translates user choices into service-specific requests for services owned by different teams, including multi-step calls that pass results between services (dashed).
Problem
Employees had to find the right service, decipher its mnemonics, and supply its required parameters.
My decisions
Translated user inputs into service-specific requests, coordinated multi-step calls, and handled service errors. Worked with service owners to resolve missing capabilities.
Verified result
50+ QA engineers could create and modify test data through one application instead of deciphering and calling separate services.

Preserving saved data during account edits

I eliminated a data-loss defect across Java services and two portals by designing and implementing a partial-update API and updating its clients to preserve omitted fields.

Read the story

The old update path treated incomplete requests as replacements, allowing omitted fields to erase stored values. I implemented the Java backend and supporting frontend changes, including shared-library coordination across the Staff and Partner portals.

The correction required a consistent update contract across the API and its consumers. It eliminated the data-loss defect across several services and two portals.

Making release readiness verifiable

I defined and ran ECS-to-EKS cutover checks using Argo CD and Datadog to verify deployment health and production request behavior. I wrote the team's verification playbook and brought the findings into shared release decisions.

Read the story

The playbook combined Argo CD deployment checks with Datadog evidence that production requests reached the new workloads, completed successfully, and showed acceptable error and latency behavior.

Release decisions were shared across the team. My responsibility was to establish confidence in the changes I worked on and surface unresolved concerns before release.

02 · Shared tools & code review

Improving how teams work.

A shared interface operations wanted on more screens

I built the shared Angular table that became the Staff Portal standard, prompting operations to request it on additional screens.

Filtering, sorting, and pagination helped staff find records that needed attention. Relevant fields in the table made comparison easier before opening an individual record. A consistent browsing experience also reduced the need to relearn each screen.

Other developers could reuse it through the shared component library.

Reviews that considered the complete workflow

I caught API compatibility issues, required tests for realistic scenarios, and guided developers toward shared implementations that kept application behavior consistent.

Working across portals and services helped me identify dependencies that could be missed when reviewing a change in isolation. That work spanned 96 pull requests across 12 repositories for a 15-engineer team.

03 · AI-assisted delivery

Making agent-written changes verifiable.

Agent-written changes could pass simple tests and still fail in the application. I built setup code and tailored test environments so agents could run the applications and supporting services, then exercised realistic workflows before accepting their changes. I retained responsibility for technical decisions, integration, and release readiness.
